hab das vor einiger zeit einer freundin auf facebook geschrieben. bin jetzt so vermessen das hier zu posten. finde es doch ne recht schöne überlegung und es fasst ein bisschen das zusammen, was ich darüber denke:

You see, applications like facebook and twitter give us the illusion, that we are able to stay in contact with nearly everyone we ever meet, constantly. yet, my experience tells me that in our fast paced and globalized world, staying in contact is even harder than one might have hoped. thus, i think, it is merely impossible with the means of non-real-time-communication to really share something, because nearly everything you can transport via the means of a written text, is nothing but emotionless information. you see, i think that emotions are probably the most important important thing that two or more people can share.
